Evidence you can inspect.

A signature, a document timestamp and a public log answer different questions. Inkdesk reports their checks separately.

Your signature

Generated or drawn ink is placed on the PDF. The declared name records who you say you are; this is not an identity-verification service.

The timestamp

A trusted RFC 3161 timestamp binds a cryptographic fingerprint to a time. Inkdesk validates the imprint and certificate evidence before reporting a successful timestamp. Availability depends on the timestamp provider.

The original PDF

The export adds an incremental revision, preserving the original byte sequence. The embedded record allows the app to check the source and reconstruct the ink. Unsupported encrypted, certified or previously signed documents may be refused.

Transparency

Public log inclusion is distinct from external witnessing. A self-signed checkpoint alone is not independent evidence of a consistent history. Read each verification result and its witness status.

Report a concern

For an unpublished private installation, contact its operator through the channel that supplied this site. Do not include a confidential PDF in an issue report.
